The filter housing had split and water was getting past the sump. He showed me the crack, fitted a new housing and basket, then checked the drain hose loop and the sump gasket while he was under there.
The compressor ran and ran and never cycled off. Condenser coil matted grey, fan blades coated. Cleaned, then watched through a full cycle before he called it done.
One burner behaved and the other three barely caught. The spark module was diagnosed on the first visit, but the part took a week to reach us, so it turned into two trips. Tidy work, and the price quoted was the price paid.
